The AVERAGE <\/strong> function returns the arithmetic mean of its arguments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The syntax is the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AVERAGE(n1, [n2],…)<\/strong><\/p>n1, n2, … <\/strong>: A number, cell reference or range for which you want to calculate the average
n2, …<\/strong> : optional arguments that can be up to a maximum of 255<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

If the cell range or references in the arguments contain text, logical values or are empty they are ignored. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If they contain error values then the calculation of the AVERAGE function results to an error as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
