It is used to join two or more text strings into one string. This function has been replaced by the CONCAT <\/a><\/strong>function. Even though it is still available you should avoid using it because it may not be available in future versions of Excel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The syntax of the function is the following: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

CONCATENATE<\/strong>(text1, [text2], …<\/b><\/span><\/em>) <\/p>text1, text2, …<\/strong> : You can have up to 255 items, up to a total of 8,192 characters. The items can be a text value, number, or cell reference.

In the cell A5 insert the appropriate function that joins the text of the cells A1, A2, A3, A4.
