Returns e raised to the power of number. The constant e equals 2.71828182845904, the base of the natural logarithm.

The syntax of the function is the following:

EXP(number)

number : The exponent applied to the base e.

EXP is the inverse of the LN function.

Here is an example of how to use the EXP function:

In the cells B1 and B2 calculate the exponential of number e as displayed in the cells A1 and A2 respectively. Use an Excel function.
